Dennis Kimberley and Mary Beth Hutchens discuss the simulated social worker/client interview that was acted out by themselves in a related video, Module 4 - Men at Risk Associated with Substance Abuse. In this video Hutchens and Kimberley discuss the interview and some of the terms in describing dual disorder or concurrant disorder and challenges in working with clients facing dual or concurrant disorder as well as interview techniques for counselling dealing with affect regulation as well as mood and how mood is related to illness and the use of substances.
